What Happened?  A mudslide hit the area two kilometers west of town.



Where it Happened? It took place between Baniff and the Bow Valley Parkway. Around 3:30 PM.



Why it Happened?  It happened because of the recent heavy rain.



Who it Affected?It affected the people that were on the high way because they had to wait.



How much is the estimated cost of damage? cleaning mudslide fast so highway can be open again.

The creep is a movement of soil and earth materials.The creep can not do much movement but it can do sever harm to the sidewalks, walls, and fence posts. The creep can displace or destroy them.

The Oldest:
Number 6 because it is also cut in the middle and it is next to number 1 so it is made in the same time.
Number 5 because it is over lapped by 2 and its inside overlapped by a bunch of layers.
Number 4 because it is over lapped by a bunch of layers too.
 Number 1 because it is on the top and top layers are younger than bottom layers. 
 Number 3 because it has no over laps and no cuts and it is over lapping all of the layers.
The Recent: Number 2 is the youngest because it is a intrusion and it pops out more. 

I think that geologists think that the Earth has been here more than 6, 000 years because the land has scars that have been made and it cant be made in 6000 years. The forms of the land of the rocks it cant be made in a short period of time it takes time for them to form in there shape.They also might of looked at the worlds population. The remains of things that used to be, along time ago that have been found could also be involved because when they found bones of dinosaurs or other they could of found that it is much older than 6000 years.
